Small Business - Investing In People

The PEI economy and lack of good paying jobs is the number one issue that is brought up at the door while canvassing.  As per the video above I believe we can grow the economy by attracting new small business to PEI by giving tax incentives.  I especially think that small business that is "knowledge-based" is the way to go - all sorts of information systems and computer programming jobs, but also writers, musicians, etc.   This sort of small business allows for easy export of products and services, and caters to off-Island clients which brings money onto PEI.
